Kiwiana Picnic

Another woodland picnic, but this time commissioned to be New Zealand themed! Littered throughout the painting are hints of New Zealand specialty snacks such as kiwifruit, chocolate fish, and pavlova. As well as a Kereru sitting at the table eyeing up the red nikau berries, and a Piwakawaka perched on the boar's head as nosey as ever.
This piece was commissioned for a hunter, hence the boar, goat, rabbit, and possum.
